Re: Anyone else hate Pete Dorr?
This made me laugh, simply because I have no idea who this guy is.
But, yeah; it's one thing to post videos or pics of your yard/garage sale/flea market, etc.: That's cool. Just posting about stuff you bought on Ebay; lame.
Unless it's one of those ridiculously low snipe scenarios.

Sure, I'm probably a little jealous of his insane collection, but what gets me even more is that no one seems to know how he gets all this stuff. He constantly buys/unboxes new stuff and has seemingly unlimited access to the rarest/unreleased games. I'm voting for the possibility that he won a small lottery, maybe upwards of 100k, and that's how he finances everything.
You do realize that I had just as many games as him right. I hit almost 3000 games in mine..
And it cost nowhere near 100k

Oh, of course I realize that, nameless internet person who I've never met, seen, or spoken to before! Thanks for enlightening me!JsGameRoom wrote:Retrogamer0001 wrote:I personally can't even the stand the sight of this guy's face. I don't like it when videos beg for likes or subscriptions (especially with exclamation points). It seems really cheesy to me. I don't recall if Pete Dorr does this, but a lot of the bigger channels on Youtube do it. So... does it work? Are there people who watch the video who will click on the subscribe annotation or button upon simple suggestion? If it does work, I think you'd end up having a view count that never matches how many subscribers you have. So can anyone tell me... does this work? I know that a lot of people buy subscribers, views, comments and likes. That's just crazy!BoneSnapDeez wrote:NEW GAME PICK UPS PART 783465734634864

Another thing I'd like to add is that someday I hope that somebody I don't know, on a forum I do not visit posts a Game Sack hate thread. That's when I know I'll have made it.

I'm simply stating my ENTIRE collection including TV, shelving, etc etc etc
Probably cost less than your car.
Re: Anyone else hate Pete Dorr?
happy console sort of hates pete dork since he pulled one up on him at a video game vendor. I think he said work at gamestop at some point, but not sure. Eventually he will become a hoarder
. I recently unsubscribed his channel, for uploading too many videos. He is a bit picky, and must collect very old games like F channel.
Re: Anyone else hate Pete Dorr?
Not for me, I'm the exact opposite. Begging for votes/subscriptions is a surefire way to turn me off a product. But I also don't listen to podcasts or watch Youtube reviews (yours is the big exception), so perhaps I'm not your typical audience.Redifer wrote:So... does it work?

Re: Anyone else hate Pete Dorr?
The multiple exclamation points probably do work but you'd think at this point people would know how YouTube functions ("what's this? subscribe?) and just click it if they like the product. Game Sack was one of the first channels I subscribed to, so there you go Joe.Redifer wrote:I don't like it when videos beg for likes or subscriptions (especially with exclamation points). I'm going to be perfectly honest, that guy's Sonic collection video made me feel like I was being sucked into a blackhole of shame and embarrassment. It was roughly the same emotion that I'd feel if I watched a pregnant woman freebase crack or something -- like you're watching an addiction that has already spiraled out of control and is causing the sort of damage that will last a lifetime. Horrific.
