Actually, it was the Anons that did it. She sent a guy a nude picture, and then Anonymous got hold of it, hacked her Facebook account, and uploaded the image of her naked as her primary image. Amongst other threatening things. What her video doesn't tell you is that the Anons managed to get pictures of her autopsy too, and those have since been posted online.

I get the feeling that no one here, and in the media in general, has any clue what goes on on 4chan. I guess everyone needs a tangible scapegoat.

You guys do realize that everyone on here is Anonymous right? That guy was Anonymous, as are the guys that posted the autopsy photos of her, the guys who keep reposting the nude photographs of her, the people who bashed her online, so on and so forth. Anonymous represents chaos incarnate, and at its height in the days of its battle with Scientology, it claimed everyone who had ever posted a comment online. In short, yes, anyone anonymously harassing someone online is Anonymous, and so are the individuals who keep it alive by reposting the harassment as well as the individuals who go after said harassers. Anonymous is a faceless, amorphous blob of anyone and everyone, and only those who get outed or claim to speak for it are not Anonymous anymore, because they have identified themselves. Anyone who claims to be Anonymous is lying, anyone who thinks Anonymous leans either toward good or bad has no understanding of chaos, and anyone who thinks it is really organized has no concept of it. Anonymous is, and the Anons are behind everything unless those behind it out themselves or identify with a specific group. Therefore organizations like Lulzsec are not Anonymous.
