the part that troubled me was "broomstick girl." That's Fumiko, sir.

Damn I wish the DC port of Shikigami II wasn't so expensive.

I thought the hero story was better than the villian's one.

It took me a bit to get used to the idea of the game as a whole, but after the third level or so, I was hooked. I am still stuck on the second one of those "spray paint the backs of the other gang" levels.

I have almost beaten Shikigami no Shiro II for the Dreamcast. It's been pretty close so far. I've been playing as the broomstick girl.

Sagaia for the Genesis. I still can't get enough of that Stage Clear music. Clap-clap clap cla-clap clap cla-cla-clap.
You've had Beat as your avatar for who knows how long now, yet you've only just played Jet Grind Radio a week ago?
Yeah, this isn't really making sense to me either.
Maybe he played JSRF first? I actually played that one before playing the DC game.

Super Mario Bros.

It occurred to me that I have never beaten this game as Luigi, something that I need to rectify. Luckily my wife loves smb, so she plays as Mario and I get to play as Luigi. I'm not using warps or any tricks, and unfortunately I lost my last life yesterday on level 5-3.

I'm determined to beat smb as Luigi though. The one cheat I may have to use is to look up the dungeon pattern for the last level. Sucks so hard to get to the last level and run out of time due to a puzzle you never saw coming.

I learned the pattern from a quasi cousin who learned it from a traveling vacuum salesmen who was trying to sell his mother some sort of fancy wetdry vac and saw they were stuck on the stage.

That is one of the best gaming related stories I've ever heard. Some old school Americana right there.

Dollars to doughnuts I know that guy. That is, if there isn't more than one traveling vacuum salesman.

I always found the original Super Mario Bros. to actually be pretty difficult. I was so proud the first time I beat it. The hardest part is how damn defenseless you are when you're small Mario/Luigi. Plus - World 8-3.

I recently got a new laptop that can just about run Dragon Age Origins decently, so i've really been getting into it. Enjoying it a lot so far, especially the dialogue between characters.

I've also recently rediscovered my appreciation of Tekken 6 on PSP, fighting against the AIs in Ghost mode. I have also spent a ridiculous amount of time playing dress-up in character customisation, but i don't talk about that because i'm a manly man. Honest.
