It's sort of like a Let's Play, but for adults, and with lower expectations. A man plays Rygar after chugging about six beers with aims to see how far he can go. Can he actually maintain focus long enough to make any decent progress through the game, or will he become distracted as he rambles on about nonsense.

I have not watched the video, but distracted video gaming is actually pretty entertaining. My favorite scene in "The King of Kong: A Fistful of Quarters" is when the Steve Wiebe is close to setting a world record score, and his son yells: "DAD! DAD! COME WIPE MY BUTT!" My wife and I nearly fell over laughing...
I have two small children...maybe I will make a video of myself trying to play through Ninja Gaiden (or another incredibly hard NES game) while my children cry, yell, run around the room, and climb all over me like I am some sort of jungle gym. (I actually got through SMB like this the other day, and a video of my struggles would probably be pretty entertaining.)

That could actually be pretty entertaining. It brings a new and natural element into the experience. Most people play with distractions around them, as life doesn't pause for you when you game.
Another thing I wanted to do, but I don't have any kids, is have a kid play old classics and see if they would enjoy it or get frustrated and quit. It would be quite interesting to compare young gamers with different interests and game preferences.
