Anyone want to play Animal Crossing: City Folk/Let's Go to the City with me some time?
I'll put my friend code in this thread later for anyone that does.

I was interested in this game at one point, but then I read about some programming bug where the grass dies all over your town, so I never looked further into the game.
I tried the GameCube version and it was okay, but it felt like a second job.

The dead grass is not a bug, it's a "feature". It's called "Animal Tracks" in the Iwata Asks for City Folk. As you move around your town, the game remembers the path you took. It slowly removes the grass from your most commonly walked areas. Actually, it's not that slow. All human players wear down the grass but I don't think the computer residents to. Essentially you'll not have any grass in front of the shop, measure, or along the ocean and river if you play regularly. I bet they'll tone down the wear in the 3DS version.

Feels like a life time ago I was playing this game with my friends everyday. My town was amazingly developed. It took forever and I just sold my Wii like it was nothing. This game makes me want a new Wii just by itself.
