Oh, isn't there a Fatal Fury Best Collection on Saturn?

not that I'm aware of. FF3 was on Saturn in Japan. I'm trying to collect US games for those systems -- and only snatching imports when not available stateside.

Well, I'll probably play Hyperstone Heist just because Turtles in Time is far and away the most expensive of these games here. You're looking at £25-30 cart-only on eBay - about $38-50.

Anyone with any thoughts on which version of Parappa, Bubble Bobble or Dizzy to try? From what I understand, Master System Bubble Bobble is quicker and smoother than NES BB, but I don't know how Saturn compares.

As for Exedexes reply, any reason for Lemmings, Zombies and Wing Commander on SNES over other versions other than liking the console? Does Lemmings or Zombies have better music or more levels on either of the first two? And I'm especially curious if there's a reason you think Wing Commander would be better on SNES than 3DO?

Well, I know I have RB: Fatal Fury Special on SAT-J, and it's pretty good.

Just a heads up - the Japanese AES version of Fatal Fury Special is the cheapest AES game I've ever seen. Got myself a copy for $12.50 a few months ago (PM me if you want to know where).

Anyone who wants to play Lemmings should really track down a version with mouse support. If you're okay with emulation, the game is fully playable in DOSBox and pretty easy to find on Abandonware sites.

any reason for Lemmings, Zombies and Wing Commander on SNES over other versions other than liking the console? Does Lemmings or Zombies have better music or more levels on either of the first two? And I'm especially curious if there's a reason you think Wing Commander would be better on SNES than 3DO?

Lemmings -- 5 exclusive "Sunsoft" stages. They are the most challenging of the bunch, even more than Taxing and Mayhem levels.

ZAMN -- No annoying black sidebar, fullscreen goodness and much better music.

WC -- That's just the SNES fan in me. The 3DO version is supposed to have some good video sequences, and wasn't Mark Hamill in that as well?

Those seem like pretty valid reasons for the first two

I'll probably at least try for 3DO on WC though, simply because I have the third in the series on that too. I dunno about Wing Commander 1, but the third does have Mark Hamill in it. It also has Malcolm McDowell and John Rhys Davies. I also suck at it, I've only beaten the first mission once.

As for Bubble Bobble, I happened to read somewhere that the SMS version is twice as long (with 200 stages) and includes several mini bosses not available in other versions. Anyone know if that's correct? At the minute it seems to come down to whether I want double the Bubble Bobble, or an arcade quality port with Rainbow Islands included (on Saturn).

It'd be cool if someone could pick up the original Amiga version of Lemmings.

And just for kicks, someone should try one of the ridiculous ports like the Atari Lynx version. I have Lemmings on Game Boy.

I checked hoping Lemmings would support the SNES mouse accesory, but unfortunately it doesn't. Lemmings 2 on SNES does though. I just don't like playing PC games for the most part, I kinda feel awkward sitting at a desk to play a game. The two do not belong together in my mind.

I have an Amiga, and would happily do this, but I need an adapter for it, and those things are heavy to post

Even though the SNES Lemmings lacks mouse support, the controller does a fine job and the cursor moves at a good speed. Never had any real issues with it.
