I think DX also lets you print out pictures with the Game Boy camera.

Oh, and DX is one of those black GBC carts so you can play it on an original GB and Super GB - I know I like to play my Game Boy games with a Super Nintendo controller.

Get Link's Awakening DX.....if the price is right.

I say that because the DX version goes for more dollars than the original Gameboy version.

On Amazon, the original Link's Awakening starts at $7.10 plus shipping (as of right now as I type this), while the DX version starts off at $16.95 plus shipping (there's one for $16.04 but the shipping is almost 6 bucks for that one).

I have the original so I'm not gonna go too far out of my way to buy the DX version unless it's at a good price (no more than 15).
