I could have sworn there was already a thread like this. I signed up as soon as I read the other thread. It must have been on another site.

I didn't notice there were forums there. I'll check them out.

*edit* aha, I found the thread. It wasn't specifically about vgcollect, but it's about cataloging sites in general and a user by the name of "madk" posted in the thread claimed he created the site.

It looks like he added some of the features discussed, such as dynamic signature.

There's a lot of these sites around. I joined up for one, but gave up when there was such poor support for PAL releases (I see no point listing games as NTSC-U if they're PAL-UK). I'll check out yours thanks, but at the moment I keep a comprehensive Excel database I put together.
Own: Mega Drive, Saturn, Dreamcast, Playstation 1, Playstation 2, Playstation 3, Playstation 4, Playstation 5, PS Vita, Super Nintendo, Nintendo 64, Gamecube, Wii U, Game Boy Advance, DS, 3DS, Switch, Switch 2, Xbox, Xbox 360

rfgeneration has full PAL support. You should check it out as I'm sure the PAL database needs more assistance than the NSTC regions.

Thanks, I know, I'm on there and it's decent and all, but it became a joke when I realised pretty much my entire Gamecube collection needed "submitting" as they seem to be lacking the majority of PAL games.

I'm gonna check this out!! I've been looking for a better tool to organize my gaming collection since IGN isn't working out anymore. I'm debating between this and Collectorz.com. I do like that this site has the ability to expand on the condition of the games you own if it's cart only or in complete condition. It also can be used for other video game memorabilia, collectibles, etc.

In the future it would be nice if the site includes a feature such as exporting your gaming collection into an excel sheet as a secondary copy for backup and maybe an iOS app. :)
Odyssey,Vectrex,Atari 2600,5200,7800,Intellivision,Colecovision,NES,Master System,SNES,Genesis,32X,CD,CDX,Virtual Boy,TG-16,Neo-Geo AES,Jaguar+CD,PSX,PSOne,Saturn,3DO,N64,DC,PS2,Xbox,GCN,Wii,Xbox 360,PS3,GB,GB Pocket,GBC,Lynx,Game Gear,Nomad,NGPC,GBA,GBA SP,GB Micro,DS,PSP,PSP Slim,WS,WS Color,3DS,Vita,PC,iPhone,WiiU

You can export to a CSV file from the settings tab.

Can I import from a CSV? Wondering if I can save my self a bit of time uploading my whole collection.

Also is there sort of a feedback system with the trading? So I can see some one's trade rating?
