Bittersweet victory in being right on this one, though. Very sad to see the only really good development studio Sony has be so crippled.
I am interested in reading about what happened with the development, in four or five years.

I don't know if this is the most recent news but according to this, it's supposedly still coming to the PS3 eventually.

I hate to be so cynical, but that article really just sounds like it's stuck in the development hamster-wheel, to me.

Sounds to me like he's covering his bases. The main thing to get from that is The Last Guardian isn't coming out within the next few months, which is when he would be confident of a release date. Any date past that is too far in the future for him to be confident.
