Sounds delish.

It was... ^^

What surprised me the most is how this meal leaves me satisfyingly stuffed.

Thought this was going to be a light meal. Not...

By the way...

Wild salmon: €3.15
Leek: €0.40
Parsnip: €1.25

Only €4.80 and ready in 20 minutes. Can't beat that...

Parsnips have quite a bit of fiber, so that's not too surprising. Better than my meal of nothing last night. I was so hungry this morning.

Which is not a bad thing per se.

Intermittent fasting prolongs life in mammals...

You been talking to my friend, he literally said that to me at lunch today. I was complaining that I skipped dinner and breakfast and he said "It's called intermittent fasting." Heh.

Took the day off to cook and game. So far the only thing I've accomplished today is raking buttloads of leaves.

Loading up the dutch oven for Chicken Adobo now. Fantastic autumn dish.

I made cinnamon rolls for dinner/breakfast. I've never done it before, but it turned out that both the rolls and the frosting are easier to make than I ever figured.
