It Hurts to Type

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Not as good as I hoped. He thinks its a skin thing.
I need to get some anti-inflamitory oinment.

If that doesn't work, he'll do an X-Ray

Funny My doctor took the xray first when my wrist was hurting.....

Im surprised yours didnt do that as well.

Doctors have been seriously cutting back on X-raying unless it is deemed necessary. I don't know if it is just because it is expensive, I think it is more because they consider the low (but existing) risks of the exposure worse than trying other means of diagnostics first, and only resorting to it later. Fact is, the more X-rays you do, the more dosage you get. The "annual" checkups used to include X-raying, but as far as I know they don't anymore.

You actually get about the same exposure in a cruise-altitude flight IIRC, and with many people doing lots of those it makes sense to cut on other exposures.
