Color me colored whatever color happy is. Glad to hear I'm not the only one who really liked Goro in MK. There definitely some cheese to his design, but the movie pulled it off.
I may have mentioned this before, but I remember seeing MK at Best buy for, I think, $9.99, and the MK double feature was $8.99. Certainly says something about MK2.

One more thing to note about the first Mortal Kombat. I've got it on blu ray, and man those CG effects look baaaaaaaaaaaaad now. They haven't aged well one bit.
Goro still looks fantastic though.

I still have the Mortal Kombat OST somewhere

The Wild Geese
A solid soldiers of fortune actioner, albeit predictable to a fault.

I still think "Yikes." when I see the new suit. Bleh.

The Devil's Advocate
Up till the last 30 minutes, this is one of the best slow-burning thrillers ever made, but the writers had to ruin it somehow.

Crazy People
A feel-good comedy that has a few genuinely laugh-out-loud moments, and the ballsiest Sony ad of all time! (and twenty years later we still live in the same culture of corporate bullshit)

No no no. Al always over acts, but yeesh with this one. Cool premise, awful delivery.Pulsar_t wrote:

al's overacting is offset by keanu's under acting. ok, maybe not.

Pretty good I thought. But this one is definetly for Resident Evil fans, not the casual horror movie fan.

ARGO
Not a movie for people with anxiety issues as their buttcheeks will probably be clenched through 95% of the movie. ARGO is tense, clever, and definitely in my top 10 of movies released in 2012 (possibly top 5).
It is a very wordy film, not that that's a bad thing, so don't expect non-stop action but you can expect non-stop tension. ARGO walks a thin line of being too overachieving, but Benny pulls it off.
