Nintendo PlayChoice problem

Post by NathanBarnatt »

I just picked up a free play choice and it's having a problem. When I thorn it on there is a loud screeching that comes from the little circuit board that is mounted to the side of the game board cage. It gets plugged in to the PSU.

I can play a game for about 60 seconds while the screeching is happening. Once the screeching stops the screens go white. Any ideas of what might be causing this? Do I need a new PSU or that little circuit board?

If so any idea where I can buy a new PSU? I bought on for a VS Mario before but can't remember where. Thanks!

the best place to ask would be the klov forums over at forums.arcade-museum.com

there are a ton of people who know a lot about that sort of thing and might even have the parts you are looking for.

Seconded. The guys on the forums over there have been extremely helpful with me in the past when I needed to diagnose and fix arcade issues.
