Saturn S-Video cables available again it seems

Post by RyaNtheSlayA »

I'm sure we all noticed how Saturn s-video cables suddenly disappeared and became extremely expensive no? Well, for those that still need a set, there's some on eBay right now that are relatively inexpensive.

Ordered mine to replace my broken set a few minutes ago.

I bought one of these earlier, but there were only two left so I didn't bother saying anything about it. Nice to see more of these gold S-Video cables. I'll post another reply saying how the cables are when I get them in.

I've been getting some scart cables from them, which have been a dream come true.
Pretty sure they're just modded cables, though--essentially third party--but should be well worth it for anyone who wants Saturn S-video.

busterm on the AtariAge forums just ordered parts and will be selling Saturn s-video cables soon as well, if these run out. Will be nice to have reliable sources for these again!

I got mine in a couple days ago and installed them yesterday. They look great! The difference is really clear in brightly colored games such as Astal. The image us much more crisp and vivid.

Looking forward to getting mine today. I miss having s-video. I'm still extremely disappointed my official Japanese ones broke, but I guess being 15 years old, then being plugged and unplugged several times is just asking for it.
