1985 was one of the best years for movies, period. BTTF was the best out of all of them, but not just for time travel.

You guys like listing things. List your top five Time Travel Movies.

Legend was also released in 1985, one of my favorite fantasy films ever made. Tim Curry was such a bad-ass devil.

the bttf trilogy is one of those movies i watch everytime i catch it on. the 3rd one confuses me on their set of "rules" though. but, it may just be cause most of the time it's on during the weekends at night and i've had a six pack and just don't feel like figuring the shit out.

Looks interesting.

Meh, it's alright. I like Nekromantik better.

I liked Der Todesking much more than Schram and the Nekromantik films. It's Jorg's best film and it's absolutely fascinating.

As far as underground horror goes... I think Der Todesking is the best. I also have a soft spot for Last House On Dead End Street.

Nobody said the 'best', we were just talking about how the time travel concept itself is used.

BTTF is in my top 5 favorite movies of all time.

Nice list. I loved Girl Who Lept Through Time as well. It was really great. And I really liked Timecrimes as well! I saw that a few months ago. It was really cool.

Top 5 Time Travel movies:

1. Back to the Future Trilogy
2. Terminator 2: Judgment Day
3. Star Trek: First Contact
4. Demolition Man
5. Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me - Hilarious!

...Okay, seriously I'd put Planet of the Apes (1968) for my #5 spot. I haven't seen Looper yet, so I can't compare it.

After considering this list, I have come to realize that we could use some more well made time travel movies.
