Things seem to be aging badly at the same time right now and it's really annoying me!

I just went to go play my newly acquired copy of Enduro Racer on Sega Master System yesterday and apparently my Sega Master System controller is no longer functional. Luckily that was easily remedied for the moment by using a Genesis controller. I still want a functioning SMS controller in my collection, though.

About a month before that I was playing Shinobi Legions on my Saturn it just suddenly reset in the middle of the game. Annoyed about losing my spot in the game, I just put in Panzer Dragoon and started playing it instead. When about halfway through the 3rd level, the same thing happened again. Saturns aren't easy to come by in my area.

Around the same time, I tried to play my NES copy of the original Legend of Zelda, and it just was a no go. I never had any problems with it before but all I could summon up was a grey screen this time.

And to top it off, my Game Gear now needs headphone or speakers hooked in through the headphone jack to hear anything. The internal speakers are shot.

Oh yeah, and Bionic Commando Elite Force doesn't want to play without freezing partway through the game (at the exact same part) on EITHER my GBA or my GBC. I always had trouble on my GBA with this game, but never on my GBC before.

My GBA also just started not showing the charging light, while charging. It was suggested here on Racketboy that I get a new battery, which I did. And it seems to be playing and charging just fine, it;s just that the charging light (the orange one) only stays on for a few minutes then shuts off while charging. It's only cosmetic, but still annoying considering everything else I just listed that's happening at once.

^^^ Don't worry, it's only going to get worse and worse with time.

The levels on infamous 2 are pretty easy. I am on the tenth level and played for about a hour and a half. I had to restart two missions because the phone call to seek wouldn't finish.
Also I was walking along and I saw a blast shard bomb too late, used shockwaveans sent the cop in front of it flying, bomb went off and I healed the officer. Mission failed. Wtf.

I bet that Wreck-It-Ralph movie is going to raise retro game prices for a little while. Ugh.

Have things been exposed to an excessive amount of heat or humidity recently? Do you have crappy dirty power where you are that could be affecting things?

^ Nope, and no kids, drunkards, or dogs to ruin them either. I think it's just a bout of bad timing.
