Damn but you guys are on fire with this topic. Again with the me agreeing wholeheartedly plus other people's hearts. Megaman IV and V have additions and features that make their NES counterparts look lazy by comparison.Gunstar Green wrote:Try to get Japanese copies of Rockman World 4 and 5 if you like the Mega Man games. They're two of the best in the entire series, not just on the Game Boy. They're a lot cheaper than getting the Mega Man versions and there's not really a language barrier.
I need more GB and GBC games!

Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

Seems like some good picks guys. For whatever reason I've let the Wario Land games slip under my radar.
Shantae is a great game, but prohibitively expensive. For me it's an "emulator game" just like Ninja Five-O.
I'm not the biggest fan of Pokemon, but I'm willing to try some if I find them on the cheap.
I had no idea there were other Mega Man GB games... Great idea.
Ninja Gaiden and Metroid II have been on my radar for some time... I actually had Metroid II when I was young but lost it.
Survival Kids is a game I was checking out last night that looks pretty cool, kinda RPG-ish.
Any really good Japanese exclusives? I know there are Star Ocean and Grandia games on GBC. The language barrier is no problem.

No Pokemon? Try getting that and Dragon Quest Monsters. Mario's Picross is fine too...

Kirby Dream Land 2 is great. Burai Figher Deluxe is fun & Contra: The Alien Wars looks cool. For GBC there's Pokemon Puzzle League that plays like SNES Tetris Attack and has a nice "puzzle mode" where you have to clear the screen in a certain number of moves. very addictive.
but, yes. spandex is right, it's not purely "exclusive" to Japan
but it was never released in NA and it's pretty cool so that's why I listed it
I didn't realize it was a $200 game, though... just stick with teh r0mz
pfft. I'm American. I don't care about PAL shitninjainspandex wrote:trip world did come out in europe but its extremely rare, but even the jpn version is pretty rare too
