Episode 1: How to Camp

Well, as the weather gets chillier, Racketman wanted to take one last opportunity to enjoy nature. He had a bunch of super hot chickadees lined up to come with, but they must've got lost. *small brains and all* lol haha lol

Consider this thread an all-in-one stop for your nature hike needs. Racketman knows it all! (Maybe we can get a mod to sticky?)

Anyways, the first thing you will want to do is find a nice clearing to set up your camp. Some people wait too long to set up camp and then it's too late. At first he was a bit confused - first time w/the new tent, but you know Racketman, he got it sorted for realz!

Next, we need to be thinking about fire. Most people think you should burn wood, but Racketman prefers leaves. Now, if only he had a rake. Wait, this is Racketman, of course he has a rake silly!

You must always be prepared to capture nature - or nature will capture you! Here we see Racketman breaking out his tripod and mini-SLR as he spots what he believes to be a Nile Crocodile from a distance:

Well, he was wrong (for once, lol) - it wasn't a Nile Croc, but it was the most beautiful leaf he had ever seen:

Ok, we've covered basic survival. Shelter and heat - but what about navigational skills? Some people use a compass, or the sun, or a water stick. <--- Sucker bets. The only true way to pick the right path:
Eenie, meanie, minie, mo:

And last but not least - the core of your naturalist survival? Food. Now Racketman can set snares all day and catch some rodents. Or, can outrun and wrestle down a deer - but most of you couldn't do that, lol. So here's a tip: Everything that grows is edible. All of it. Racketman has no idea how people get hungry. Here is an example of just eating what is around you:

Hope you learned something new and enjoy the beautiful pics! Next time i'll bring some really hot chicks with too, lol.
