Ninjainspandex's winter gaming challenge

Post by ninjainspandex »

I know most of you are still working on your summer gaming challenges, but i wonder if it is appropriate for me to start a winter gaming challenge as summer is quickly coming to and end :(. i know many of us, especially those who live in the north like me who have to deal with brutal winters with not much to do, do the most gaming in the winter. I personally thought 10 games to be a bit much if your picking rpgs and other games that are very time consuming so perhaps 5 games is a good number.
I have realized that i have not finished any zelda game other then windwaker, which is probably #1 or 2 in my top 10 games of all time, so my list is going to have a theme to it but by no means does yours have to. so without further ado here is my list.

#1 Legend of Zelda a Link to the Past
#2 Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time
#3 Legend of Zelda Majoras Mask
#4 Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess
#5 Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword

i will probably play them in that order it will be neat to see the series evolve, also i doubt i will be doing all hearts runs (or even close for that matter lol) so this goal seems reasonable.

So come at me bros with your lists

Borderlands 2 (Hopefully)
...the rest to come.

Two of my summer challenges were Xenogears and Chrono Trigger... I'm pretty sure I beat all of the others, but my laptop died so I lost my Chrono Trigger save and Xenogears I stopped playing largely because I was bored with it. But these will now be my winter challenges

You NEED to add Link's Awakening to your list. It's short and pretty easy, but it's possibly my favorite Zelda game. And the ending song (Ballad of the Wind Fish) is worth it for the play through alone.

Also Oracle of Seasons. Amazing and totally underrated as well.

School, wrestling, kickboxing, writing a novel...

I'll be lucky if I even beat Xenosaga.

Done with link to the past and ocarina of time. About to start majoras mask, very excited about this one as i hear it's very underrated but complicated. Lucily i bought stratagy guides for each of the games. So far my gaming goal seems very achievable.
