I've played PaRappa and SC5 before. I always liked SC5 more so I voted for that. I picked Lemmings over Puyo Puyo because I don't like Tetris style puzzle games, but I enjoyed Lemmings type games like Dodogo or Mario vs Donkey Kong: Minis March Again. I picked Game & Watch over Bubble Bobble just because the Game & Watch games are an interesting part of gaming history. I've already played a Road Rash game before, and I generally don't like driving games with only a few exceptions. So I picked Virtua Tennis

Resigning myself to the fact that Bubble Bobble will probably be the clearest winner the polls will have, I did a test run on Taito Legends, it was an excuse to hook my laptop up to the new TV again -

Yeah, I'm gonna need a month to make it all the way down there  You also *can not* continue on this game in TL, so I'm gonna have to find an alternate means to play it if I want to reach the end.

I can't vote for some reason, it says the form is invalid. I even tried putting just 3 options instead of 4.

I voted for SC5 even though I've never played more than the first stage of Parappa, and I've played SC5 to death. Never really been a fan of the original Parappa. If it had been between Um Jammer Lammy and SC5 I would have had a harder time deciding.

I haven't followed this thread from start to finish; Did anyone mention Um Jammer Lammy. There's a Parappa mode after you complete it, so in that way, it could appeal to a greater number of people.

just me, or was Un Jammer terrible compared to Parappa? I found the timing was really off or at least less forgiving than Parappa.

It's just you. Unjammer is awesome. (I actually thought that it was more forgiving than PaRappa, but PaRappa was the first rhythm game that I ever played...) It's PaRappa 2 (and, to a certain extent, Major Minor) that are terrible compared to PaRappa.

In any event Space Channel 5 - or as my three-year -old daughter calls it, "Robot Dancing" - kills all of them. (She - and I - love that game...the last level is so, so awesome.)

Voted for Road Rash but looks like Bubble Bobble is going to take it. I just got the NES version not too long ago and haven't spent much time with it so I guess I'll have an excuse to get my girlfriend to play it with me.

I think that's more the series as a whole, personally. I don't find it to be a very intuitive series of rhythm games, but once I actually figured out Um Jammer Lammy, I enjoyed it far more than being constantly defeated by the original Parappa. Also (after the first stage, anyway) I like the music in Lammy more than what I've heard from Parappa.
