Welp playing it and tbh it's pretty good.. Fun Coop and atleast on PS3 it runs smooth FPS wise..

Has the amount of darkness in the full game changed at all from the demo?

I don't mind the Darkness tbh.. I'm like only 50% brightness in the game setting, and I don't have a huge problem with.. Also, in some spots the graphics are wonderful.. Some of the best I've seen on ps3.

So, is Leon's section scary? I'd be willing to put up with the other parts if so. One of my major gripes with RE4 was that it just wasn't scary. Am I just better of using my time finally beating Enemy Zero?

I've only played through the first two chapter's of Leon's campaign. Would rate it a zero on the scary scale.

Has Resident Evil ever been scary? I mean even the good ones weren't what I would call scary. They could startle you and make you jump, but weren't scary. A demo I played of the original Silent Hill scared me more than any RE game I've ever played. So did Eternal Darkness.

I'm really having fun with this even though I can only solo due to the time I'm able to play.. Coop is much more fun but playing solo is still enjoyable.. I'm at the library right now and can't wait to play this..(After the Tiger game of course. :O)

I definitely prefer the atmosphere of the first few RE games. Whether I would find them scary or not today, I do not know. But at the time they were awesome. RE6 seems much more action oriented. Still fun, but the atmosphere isn't even slightly scary.

I honestly didn't play it to get scared.. Just liked the story and wanted to puzzle solve along with blowing some zombie's heads off occasionally.. Killing floor is when I just want to do the latter..

Are you playing this on PS3? I've been trying to get either this or Dishonored off Gamefly, but they don't have any copies of either game. If they sent me RE 6 I wouldn't mind some co op once I get comfortable with the gameplay mechanics.
