Nuby released it to promote alongside the US release of KOF 2000/2001 double pack. Those were some exciting times.

Nice stick collection! I've always wanted to get the TvC stick. I'm going to start saving up money so I can make a custom one for Xbox.

Well, after getting in contact with some old connections of mine, I discovered that I may be adding a new Arc Stick to my collection soon with a brand new HORI Soul Calibur 5 arcade stick for a sweet ass deal. If it goes through then my desire to own an stick with a Noir arcade control layout will be resolved as this stick is one of only three products on the market that have this unique arcade layout (Mad Catz Soul Edition TE-S and Hori Tekken Tag 2 arcade stick being the other 2).

My all time favorite stick is my hori vx sa for my 360 i think i have a sort of an arcade stick fetish i should post my collection of sticks. Ive been thinking about buying another hori vx sa and finding someone to mod it for use on the saturn and playstation, if it can be done. I think my official dreamcast stick is my second favorite, i only use my sticks for shmups for fighters i use a saturn pad.

I always wanted to get one, but word on the street kept indicating that Hori was planning a significant update to improve their VX SA line of sticks after they released their ubber awesome Fighters Edge Stick, and they ultimately did with the more impressive VX SA Kai series. Def a major improvement to an already great stick.

Well for starters, Hori did away with the 360's ugly white casing and went with the black casing just like the PS3 variant of the vx sa! A major complaint amoung the community was the the spacing between the buttons and the joystick was just too small. vx sa Kai corrects this to much praise! The other perk is that they took a page from Qanbas Q4RAF line of arcade sticks where their sticks are built with a felt bottom for maximum comfort and stability but 1ups it with a leather bottom panel. The stick also has a really slick feature where the Start button can be toggled to function as a Select button instead. A great feature IMO! Finally the control panel art has an upgraded design.

It may not cook bacon or provide you with a rub and tug as you've suggested, but if you ask me, the upgrades made to the Kai series are a welcome addition to an already solid stick
