I get this sometimes too, on occasion. I also get that weird, almost-burgy guilt when I'm coming to the end of a game, and I'm already thinking of the oceans of other games I can play afterwards, like I'm shorting myself of the experience of a full game.
Now, if only that was life's most pressing concern, it'd be a richer thing.
Thanks to the extension cable I had to buy for my Turbografx, it's gone from having controllers with uncomfortably short cables to being the only system I can easily play from my computer desk.
I really should look into getting extension cables for all of my consoles.

I've considered getting one before, but the problem with the FDS is that both the consoles and disks are unreliable. The systems have certain faulty parts (the drive belt) and the disks have a nasty tendency to get dirty or even demagnetize. I haven't ruled it out completely, but it just sounds like a hassle.
