So Luke, with all your other film additions, you gonna throw on Frankenhooker too?

I liked Brain Damage more than Frankenhooker although... Frankenhooker is hilarious. "MY BITCHES ARE GONE"noiseredux wrote:he should. Frank Henelotter rules.Ack wrote:So Luke, with all your other film additions, you gonna throw on Frankenhooker too?

"She's sutured to please"
How could I pass up a movie with that tag?
Answer: I can't.

Brain Damage and Basket Case are both def better than Franken. But it is super entertaining. I have all 3 on VHS still! I've actually not seen the BC sequels yet -- I have 3, but want to see 2 first. And I haven't seen Bad Biology yet either. :\KillerJuan77 wrote:I liked Brain Damage more than Frankenhooker although... Frankenhooker is hilarious. "MY BITCHES ARE GONE"noiseredux wrote:he should. I own the Basket Case Blu-Ray, Brain Damage on DVD and Frankenhooker on Blu-Ray. Basket Case in particular looks amazing, who would have thought that something like that would look great on HD?noiseredux wrote:Brain Damage and Basket Case are both def better than Franken. I might download the sequels though, I've heard mixed stuff about it.

So what do you guys think of the Maniac remake, starring Elijah Woods?

I'm definetely interested. The fact that it's shot from the POV of the killer (The entire film is shot like that) and that it's produced by Alexandre Aja are great signs, plus, there's a shot in the trailer that emulates the original's cover. I think it haves tons of of potential and apparently it's very artsy which is a great sign since it's not copying everything about the original.Ack wrote:So what do you guys think of the Maniac remake, starring Elijah Woods?

I hadn't heard about it, but the trailer actually looks pretty good. As far as Aja is concerned, I've liked a lot of his work. High Tension was alright. I enjoyed the Hills Have Eyes remake. Piranha 3D was great fun. Still need to see P2. Anyway, the trailer... I'm willing to give the Maniac remake a chance.Ack wrote:So what do you guys think of the Maniac remake, starring Elijah Woods?
