Well, I've begun playing D2, though I don't know if I'll stick with it. If I remember correctly, this game has a habit of freezing from time to time, so if that happens, I may very well just drop it and move on to a different horror game. But I've beaten the original D, and I would like to get through the sequel so I can knock it off my list of Dreamcast horror games.

RE 3 progress so far:
Did you ever beat Carrier?Ack wrote:But I've beaten the original D, and I would like to get through the sequel so I can knock it off my list of Dreamcast horror games.
Re: The MONTH OF HORROR 3: Season of the Dream Warriors
Oh yeah. On the Dreamcast I've beaten Blue Stinger, Carrier, Resident Evil: Code Veronica, and The Ring: Terror's Realm. On other consoles I've beaten Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil 3, and Dino Crisis, though I own all three's Dreamcast ports. I also own a few other DC horror games that I need to get around to beating.

RE 3:
Made it to the clock tower. Just fought Nemesis and died. I wasn't really prepared for a fight. Thankfully I saved beforehand.

Fighting Nemesis was just about the hardest boss in any Resident Evil game I've ever played... and that wasn't even the final encounter!

RE3's boss battles are all pretty nuts. Honestly I never did finish the game, I think I got stuck on a boss in it actually. I got past the fight you're describing though.Opa Opa wrote:Fighting Nemesis was just about the hardest boss in any Resident Evil game I've ever played... and that wasn't even the final encounter!

They just released a ton of PSOne titles on Vita! I might have to include RE1 on my list, I don't think I ever beat it.

Got RE Mercenaries 3D. Despite being on a portable the action is still very intense. I feel even more rushed during combat on this version of mercenaries than I do on the home consoles.

Re: Picks for MONTH OF HORROR 3: Season of the Dream Warrior
Beat The Mercenaries 3D.- RE Code Veronica X - PS2
- RE Mercenaries 3D - 3DS ~BEATEN~ 10/04
- RE 3 (hard mode)- PS1
Beating the game only takes beating each stage with a B ranking or higher (I think B rank...). Anyway, even though I saw the credits I still haven't fully completed it. I still have stuff to unlock and high scores to obtain.

All righty. I hope to beat RE 3 here in the next couple days. Afterwards: Code Veronica X.
