Are there more FPS games on the DC other then Quake III, Unreal Tournament and the unreleased Half-Life?
I'd love to know, since i find that, while it can be awkward at first, the DC controllers handles FPS games quite good, not N64 controller-good but still reasonable!

There's Soldier of Fortune, but that's about it. DC was weak on FPS games.

I tried out Quake III and UT a year or two ago. I found them to be unplayable with the DC controller. The DC keyboard and mouse, however, works very well.Flodder450 wrote:I'd love to know, since i find that, while it can be awkward at first, the DC controllers handles FPS games quite good, not N64 controller-good but still reasonable!

Maken X? Terrible game, though
Re: Dreamcast FPS games
Hardly terrible, maybe disappointing if you played it after being spoiled with more modern games.Yancakes wrote:Maken X? Terrible game, though

Outtrigger is a first person/third person shooter that was an arcade game on the Dreamcast. Its fast, frantic, and awesome:
Best described as If Sega made Quake 2 for the arcade. And it supports Mouse/Keyboard and the Panther DC. Sadly there is no way to play 4 player with Mouse/Keyboard each anymore.

There's Kiss: Psycho Circus, but it's pretty unimpressive.

Re: Dreamcast FPS games
The OP already mentioned it, but I love the Dreamcast version of Unreal Tournament. I have spent countless hours playing 4-player multiplayer with the game. Sure, it was laggy as hell in 4-player mode, but it was just so much fun that you could easily ignore it. Also, it probably has the best controls for a console FPS on a non-dual analog system.
