Is the Eclipse FWD or RWD? I've never been much into Mitsubishi, but, I did look at a 3000gt VR4 a few years back. Would've been great had it not driven so heavy and felt cheap.

front wheel v6 gt. 3000's are nice but rare to find not all ragged out. just going to get a custom high flow exhaust, cia, headers, few other mfnor things. not going all out or anything. just wanted something fun to drive in my budget, without payments.

If you want better handling and less understeer (it IS an FWD car after all) a nice cheap investment would be stiffer sway bars. Especially the rear.

thanks i'll look into that. it's pretty easy to do the rear just have to do some research on the best size and off what car.

Only put in a new transmission mount and wheels. It's a great car. Seats 4, and has plenty of trunk space. If I try hard to be conservative it gets decent mileage too, current average readout is something like 31mpg.

*Not my picture, but identical color and similar wheels. It's snowing and I can't be bothered to go out in the cold to take a picture.

You NEED to put the Mazdaspeed Intake on ASAP . Almost 30hp more, and it sounds AWESOME!

I had a silver MS3 but now I drive a Lexus IS350 :)

The earlier, say circa 1998-ish Eclipses were rear wheel drive no? My neighbor had one and I never saw him burn out with his front wheels spinning (which would be hilarious).

Somebody didn't read through the thread.

Unfortunately, I no longer have that car to drive, my dad was sick of the payments. Instead, I saved up and bought myself a 10th Anniversary Miata.

(But yes, I did in fact put in an intake on the MS3 before we sold it)
