It's nothing groundbreaking, but it is an amazingly good time. Not as perplexing as INCEPTION, but the pacing is much better, and the writing and acting is almost perfect to a T. LOOPER follows the old adage "If someone pulls out a gun, someone better pull the trigger".Hobie-wan wrote:Still pending a Looper showing for me.
RAID is still my favorite action movie of the year, but LOOPER may cause a few heart palpitations.

I'll go see it probably next weekend. This weekend I was busy with the Return to Ravnica prerelease.

Dredd 3D. It was rated as B-15 here in Mexico (It's like PG-15) and all I can say is that's bullshit, it was one of the most violent action films I've ever seen (If not to say the most violent). AND I LOVED IT
.
Also, the 3D was nothing short of spectacular.

Lost Highway
About as coherent as a sloppy omelette. Lynch is overrated, but mostly by the public. The metascore averages at 52%, which is higher than I'd rate it myself. If only Lynch directed films written by *proper* writers his movies would be a whole lot better.
