To be fair the last time they felt fresh was with the Windwaker. Nintendo has become very risk averse with the Zelda series.

Speaking of Zelda, I hope nintendo remakes Majora's Mask as well, That game got undeserved flack because of it's 3 day system. And, not nearly as many people played it b/c it was released late in the lifespan of the console and required the expansion pak. Majora's Mask: master quest would be great as well.

I wonder if nintendo will just release an updated version of the WiiU gamepad which includes a second screen and plays 3ds games. I mean, the gamepad is essentially the bottom half of a 3dsxl+circle pad pro at this point, isn't it?

Two more Japan-only 3DS models. The first one is for Animal Crossing; the second is that newer Mario title.

Both ugly as sin.

I actually sorta like the Animal Crossing one, it's tacky but kind of cute.

There is also an Animal Crossing-themed Nintendo Direct presentation due for this Friday, here. Should be interesting, I'm really think they're changing a lot of things for the better in this version.
