It thought it was a very good action film/film noir. For a movie titled "Drive", however, there was not very much driving. (The opening scene is spectacular, however.)hashiriya1 wrote:Finally got to see "Drive" Been putting that one off for a long while. Glad I finally saw it.

Here is an interesting article on how Marvel became a movie powerhouse:indecks wrote:Avengers blueray.

I thought that it would be an interesting read for all of the Avengers fans on the forum.

i remember reading about a possible Spider-man back in 1992 with "terminator 2 special effects" for Venom. I've read the James Cameron Spidey treatment. It was meh.
I was happy with the first two Spider-man movies. The 3rd was pretty turds. And I haven't seen the new one. I have zero interest in it.

T-minus one hour until LOOPER. I've been waiting to see this for over a year now and got the shaft on an early screening.
Trying to lower my expectations, but I've heard nothing but good things and I'm excited.

Maybe because we aren't as snobby as them (Look at The Tree Of Life, it's an overlong beautiful mess of religious and philosophical ideas with some insanely unlikeable characters. Most people I know despised it while critics loved it).Pulsar_t wrote:Why thank you![]()
I watched the German one, and didn't fancy it either (KillerJuan77 thought the same of the film as I did.) Also note the stark disparity between user and critic ratings on IMDb.

It was the opposite for the original

Koyaanisqatsi
The granddaddy of time-lapse movies, Koya is simply awesome. Thought-provoking and still poignant without a single word of dialogue. Oh and people seemed thinner back then

It is good stuff. The final dwindling shot of the rocket still gives me chills. I was really happy when the soundtrack got re-released too since the old version was missing a bunch to fit it into single LP length.Pulsar_t wrote: Koyaanisqatsi

Already seen it once a few year ago, Didn't think that much of it back then. Liked it a lot better on my second viewing...
