GB/GBC/GBA carts with multiplayer support in Game Boy Player

Post by dtrack »

I'm looking for games that supports 2-players or more via multitap like Bomberman with Super Game Boy and/or Game Boy Player. Is there any other out there?
Also, does support for 4-players via multitap with SGB in Bomberman means it supports 4-player with GB Player?
I konw it's a bit tricky and rare and i haven't find any list of it so we could make it here.

Edit:
I have found this list:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Su ... _Boy_games
It is possible to extract the games with multiplayer support but it's only for GB/GBC and the compatibility with GB Player is still unknown.

the gameboy player acts as a gba does. keep this in mind.

IE: you can use a gba-gc link cable to play pac-man vs on a gamecube and a gc with a gb player using 2 tvs.

None do. Game Boy Player lacks the SNES hardware needed for SGB support.

Essentially most GB/GBC/GBA fan emulators go against how SGB works, by displaying the border images without SNES emulation. So SGB menus or any other SNES related feature can't be used. One neat upside to such inaccuracy is some emus allow GBC mode with borders. :D

bsnes however is a true SGB emu.

The GB player is exactly the same hardware as the Gameboy Advance. At conventions Racketeers have done the Four Sword/Five Cube setup, where four gamecubes with GB players and the GBA/GC cable are hooked to smaller tvs, and then there's a larger fifth TV that has the "main" cube that all of the GBA/GC cables are hooked to. It works for Crystal Chronicles and Pac Man Vs. too.
