flojocabron - Nice Finds! Good score on the PS1 with the Atari Collection disc inside.
The Attachment Upload is not working, might be fixed next month.
Google Images are used for the interim.
PC Hawx - $2.00 Swap Meet

A UBISoft game with no DRM and no online authentication! The crazy part is a FULL Install and the DVD Rom does not have to be left in to play the game! Certainly a change compared to other game titles they have done in the past with DRM and DLCs.
The Flight Sim is more of an arcade style with unlimited missiles. Beautiful graphics and on the opposite end of the complicated realism of
Falcon 4.0. A nice alternative when i just want to climb in the cockpit and lock on targets right away with unlimited ammunition.
PS1 Tetris Plus - $2.00 Swap Meet
For an older PS1 game, very pristine with a crisp manual. The Dpad is used to move the blocks so an Arcade Stick can be used. Interesting Puzzle mode and two player head to head. The battle mode is fun, Nintendo really should have allowed the Tengen Tetris game on the NES.
PS2 Final Fantasy XI Chains Promathia - $3.99 $4.99 PressPlay

The $3.99 copy only had the game disc, for an extra buck I got the CIB copy with an extra game disc inside. Press Play is a local used music-movie-game store. Sometimes I find uncommon games and movies at a good price. Hard Drive compatible since it is made for it, but unfortunately not much I can do with this since an online PS2 game. Ah well, interesting at least with an extra copy of the game disc inside and manual showing the keyboard commands. I do have the specialized
Logitech PS2 controller Keyboard, maybe one day find a way to tweak this thru a PC or possibly LAN play?
Playstation Underground 3.4 - $1.99 PressPlay

A demo disc set so maybe not anything special? The very nice extra along with the game demos is a very first look years ago of the PS2 with video and game previews presented in a PS1 CD Rom. The announcement on 09/13/1999 at the Pre-Tokyo Game Show, I bought this for the historical standpoint. The disc has memory card saves to unlock all the levels in various games, notably
Metal Gear VR. After all these years, I discovered the CD Magazine series was put together about a half hour from my house! I could have driven to the office years ago and loaded up on goodies back in the day.
There is also a game called
Project Wormhole
A Sony game with Level editor for Fan made submissions, eventually to become a commercial game back in the day? There are two Tunnel Style games in the PS1 that play similar;
Nitrous Oxide and the import
Internal Section.
Star Wars I VHS Collector Edition - $2.00 Swap Meet
Maybe one of the last widescreen movies released on the dead VHS tape format? I already own the DVD, bought for the very nice extras. A 48 page collector Art Book excerpt and a very nice Anamorphic film strip. I knew about the anamorphic concept of using special lenses to process movies on a "square" 35mm film strip and now own proof. Anytime I buy DVDs, Anamorphic Widescreen is the way to go to get rid of the black bars.

USB Gamemon Mini Gamepad
I normally like big controllers, but this is perfect for a laptop on the go. USB HID ready so no driver is needed. I removed the auto winder to take the stress off the cord and make it even more compact. Considering the small size, the buttons and pad work just fine. So much better then trying to play a game with the Laptop flat keys. There are four face buttons and four triggers which can be set to Autofire on the fly. The Dpad emulates an analog stick so it can even be used for analog controlled games.

Majesco GBA Wireless Link Set
3rd party wireless link set that supports older wired link games, the titles that do not work with the Nintendo Wireless link. Each has a LED that flashes to indicate searching for a connection. There have been reports of dropouts going the wireless route, but in the same room should be more reliable.

Nintendo wireless links use a different programming protocol than the standard link cable. This means that unless a game is specifically made for these wireless links, it will not work. Currently, a select few GBA games support Nintendo’s first party wireless links.
Majesco, makers of BloodRayne, Advent Rising, and the GBA Video Carts, saw a need to fill the gap where Nintendo left off. Majesco’s goal was to create a low cost wireless link for the GBA that could be used for every previously existing, as well as future released GBA games. Not to be confused with Nintendo’s wireless link, Majesco has created something all their own. Majesco’s wireless links will not work for every GBA game, nor will they work with Nintendo’s wireless adapter. Also, only multi-pak game mode will work.
A mixed review on which games work, one has to have two game paks. Nice having a wireless ability on wired link games that do not support the Nintendo Wireless link. Interesting if a mod could be done for the wireless connection of Gamecube Pacman Vs. Imagine four Wavebirds and a GBA all without the wires
