Did you just crown the shittiest director of action movies the say all and end all of action movies?

The only thing Marvel's the Avengers and a Michael Bay movie have in common is that they are Summer Action Blockbuster movies.

I tried watching The Avengers 3 times now. But every time I see that Loki guy in his suit with that helmet I have to think of a cheap Power Rangers episode and I just can't continue...

I think people just immediately associate Micheal Bay with any kind of flashy spectacle.

Proper review next time i spit some of those out, but in short Dredd was ok. It had a late 80s/early 90s "hard R" vibe to it that I liked, though I can't think of any standout scenes or any other components of the film that make it notable. It is not a great action/hero film, but it is not a bad one.

I don't think you understood what the movie was going for.

Which one?
Both are the same thing, the big difference is the cast.
The reason I ask Pulsar_t is that he is always more in favor to foreign films and I just wanted to know what version he is watching and his opinion. He always has an interesting opinion to read.

Why thank you   I watched the German one, and didn't fancy it either (KillerJuan77 thought the same of the film as I did.) Also note the stark disparity between user and critic ratings on IMDb.

It's one of those films that critics love while the audience hates. Maybe because we aren't as snobby as them (Look at The Tree Of Life, it's an overlong beautiful mess of religious and philosophical ideas with some insanely unlikeable characters. Most people I know despised it while critics loved it).
