Ha, nice... ^^

Maybe it's as sick and depraved as Salo, but at least this one is funny.

And it's got Malcolm McDowell in it, which is always a plus in my book...

Less than two hours until it is time to Assemble.

Heads up:

Went to Best Buy and saw a 5-disc set (blu-ray 3D, blu-ray, dvd, digital copy, soundtrack) retailing for $37.99, on sale for $29.99. I asked the cashier if they price matched, and with no trouble I bought the whole shebang for $19.99usd.

I didn't even have a flyer, I simply said "it's at Target for $19.99" and bada bing, an extra $10 off.

Could have been my rugged good looks and irresistible charm as I doubt it's store policy to take a customer by his word, but for $20, a pretty good deal.

Saw Van Dam's "Bloodsport" last night for the first time. It was super cheesy but overall I did like it. I heard that the creators of Mortal Kombat based a lot of the first game on that movie and its definitely shows. Watching Timecop tonight, wish me luck lol

I finally saw The Avengers. Twice. I watched it again right after my first viewing. Fantastic movie. Possibly the best comic book movie I've ever seen, at least until I get around to finally seeing The Dark Knight Rises.

It'll still be the best comic movie (maybe a tie with Dark Knight). Rises wasn't as good as Dark Knight or Avengers.

Dark Knight is a hard act to follow. Hopefully, I'll still enjoy it anyway

The Avengers really amazed me. It built off of the previous movies so well. It used its characters effectively, had great dialog, jokes that hit the right notes, and some goddamn AMAZING action.

Rises is definitely good, but yeah it's not quite on the level of Dark Knight, and it's not executed as smoothly all around as Avengers.

You could consider Rises the Return of the Jedi to TDK's Empire Strikes Back. I think it's a stronger finale all around than Jedi was personally though.

Just keep your expectations in check and you'll be happy I think.
