Probably will end up picking up the handheld. It'll be the cheapest way to play Neo Geo games on official hardware. Hope the software support is good.

Isn't it a handheld/console bundle?RyaNtheSlayA wrote:Probably will end up picking up the handheld.

No. It is a handheld that can plug into a TV via that dock.Luke wrote:Isn't it a handheld/console bundle?RyaNtheSlayA wrote:Probably will end up picking up the handheld.

Yes - in a sense. The first release is the bundle but there will be a standalone release of just the handheld later.Luke wrote:Isn't it a handheld/console bundle?RyaNtheSlayA wrote:Probably will end up picking up the handheld.

The connector looks the same on the promotional images. Regardless itll be modded to work on other consoles and via USB. So two sticks please.jay_red wrote:I wonder what connection the stick will use? if it uses the same style on the AES then they will be putting out the cheapest Neo Geo stick you could get!

awesome, and does the console only output in HDMI. I ask as I do not own any tv's that have HDMI.

Count me in as an "on the fence" person.
Though it wouldn't surprise me if I get this before I get a Wii U.

Oddly enough, every time I check Amazon Japan for a Wii U pre-order, it always offers me the NGX system... hmmmm.BoneSnapDeez wrote:Count me in as an "on the fence" person.

I've already pre-ordered the bundle from GameStop, did the online order option mainly b/c of the Ninja Masters free game bonus. So why do I want this system? Portable King of the Monsters, Last Resort and Magician Lord (some of my NG faves)? Yes, thank-you, sign me up.BoneSnapDeez wrote:Count me in as an "on the fence" person.

BoneSnapDeez, you had mentioned that you were looking for a NeoGeo CD? Just as an FYI, I've got a single-speed one that's compatible with US/Japan and I think Europe that I'm considering to post online for sale, and/or on this site, with about 12 games, including Pulstar. Trying to decide, as I admittedly haven't used it in ages. I love the Geo games, though!

Will they be releasing more physical games besides Ninja Masters? Please say yes.
