Sounds about right for condition, selection, and quality of games in many places. Don't forget those Play Mechanix/Raw Thrills titles that seem to still be cranked out by the dozens every year.
With the exception of possibly *1* place here I try to frequent every month, half the times I see a good title or even pinball table, there's always a control issue, steering wheel issue, or something else wrong with it. I bet even in the most rural hole-in-a-wall arcade in Japan, every cab is in perfect shape and always ready to play.
