I've had a few interesting jobs.

I was a truckdriver, I hauled cars from Miami to Boston and back. When you're on the road that much you see some really bizarre things... and have lot lizards sit on your face accidently.

Worked at a dump/recycling center

I also worked at an adult porn site for like 3+ years.

Now I am a freelance programmer and make video games independently.

Other then that my jobs were normal teenager jobs.

I guess the moral of this story is: when entering a truck stop, never, ever forget to put a prophhylactic on your face

I used to serve subpoenas, and i wasn't allowed to tell my friends what I did. That was really interisting.

Now I'm a cable tv/internet/digital phone installer, and I do small home networks (wired and/or wireless) as well.

On the side though I orginize a crew of longboard skateboarders. basically, we're a bunch of guys who ride really big skateboards really fast. I've been clocked at 40 down a hill, and that was while "air braking" (trying to be as un-aerodynamic as possible to shave speed). www.myspace.com/gogreenlongboarding has some videos/photos on it. the real good videos are under my personal myspace, it won't be hard to figure out who I am on there.

I need to have you come to my house
Time Warner has rewired my whole house inside and out, yet 5 months after install I still find myself unplugging/plugging in my modem 3 to 4 times a day because either my net or phone goes down - never both at the same time just one.

Other interesting jobs: not only do run Spacebooger.com I used to make mixtapes (CDs to sell in a real store) and sample cd's with a 5 minute track with every song from their album blended together for them to use as promotion. I am also a middle school science teacher and teach inner city kids how to water ski during the summers.

Well, if we're going into side jobs, I used to have a weekly column in a small-town newspaper focusing on popular culture. In fact I've worked for several newspapers at various points, though the only real regular writing jobs I get are always the ones that never pay.

I actually find it kind of funny that I'm technically a free-lance journalist with experience I never claim under my belt...

I know this isn't a post for listing one's job history, but here's what I've got under my belt:

Planting sugar cane - That job SUCKED. Louisiana summers are a bitch.
Carpentry
8 years in the restaurant industry, most of it as a Sous Chef
2 years working offshore on various oil rigs - You wouldn't believe the kinds of people that work on the rigs. Most of them are on spouse #3 or 4, bitching constantly about alimony and child support. But many of them have mail order brides whose families they support without a complaint. Explain that one. (This isn't the reason I quit this job, though.)
1 month at my new job in sales for an offshore supply company.

I've also spent most of my life playing music. The furthest I've gone with it is a small-time tour several years ago. A family happened to me somewhere along the way and interrupted my rockstar dreams. Now that I'm not working offshore anymore and I once again have a life I can pursue this interest.
