I've been playing the 360 one. Maybe when the online patch comes out I'll get the PS3 one too to get some co op going.

I have it on 360, seems like the majority of people have it on PS3 though.

I got to mission 8 (not exactly sure the number) its the one where
you ride the bottom jaw of the mutant plant
and I have tried and failed that level twice because
I keep getting knocked off while traveling down the hill.
I will try again tomorrow and this is the first time in the game I have really struggled. The fact that I can't stop thinking about loading the game up and trying to beat that level again is a great thing.

Chucking the enemies off of the jaw really helps in that level. It gets rid of them a lot faster.

Start a punch, punch, kick combo before enemies actually appear. The kick will stun them and set em up for a throw, which may even knock someone else off. It's sometimes possible to jump kick the rocket girls into the hill you're sliding on and kill them. Save enough energy for one special attack for when Abobo shows up.

One strategy that I never tried but could work well is relying on the dragon swarm special along with the tape that boosts your mp bar and mp regeneration. Course, that's assuming you've upgraded those at all. Theoretically, that should make the stage much easier to get through.

I've noticed you get knocked off less when you're knocked toward the left. Though if the rocket girls hit you it's pretty much guaranteed they'll knock you off. This level is annoying and cheap quite honestly, but doable.

You only need to hit her when she starts charging up her unavoidable attack. It will interrupt the charging. Other than that ignore her and pound on Skullmageddon but keep an eye on her so she doesn't nuke you.
You're almost there, that fight was actually tougher for me than the last one (which graciously lets you continue right before it if you fail).
