Here's a pretty cool if completely random collection of stuff I've bought from Deseret Industries thrift stores in the last few weeks.

Image
Metroid Prime 3: Corruption strategy guide - $1.00
The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass hardcover strategy guide - $2.00
NBA Jam Extreme - Sega Saturn, complete - $2.00
PlayStation 2 GameShark - $2.00
Populous - Sega Genesis, complete - $2.00

Image
Out of This World - SNES - $3.00
RoboCop vs The Terminator - SNES - $3.00
Battletoads - Genesis - $2.00
Judge Dredd - Genesis - $2.00
Demolition Man- Genesis - $2.00
Bugs Bunny in Double Trouble- Genesis - $2.00
Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers - Genesis - $2.00
Image
Soul of the Samurai - PS1 - $2.00

Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver - PS1, Greatest Hits - $2.00

Street Fighter Anniversary PS2 control pad - $2.00
Carnival - Intellivision - $1.00
I get a kick out of this cartridge. A game licensed by Sega and published by Coleco for Mattel's Intellivision.
disc wallet full of PS1 games with manuals - $3.00
Like most I usually avoid incomplete disc games but there was enough here that I was interested in playing and it was cheap enough to make it worthwhile.

- The Powerpuff Girls: Chemical X-Traction
- Crash Bash
- Ball Breakers
- Sim Theme Park

^ Very nice!

In any event, after noting that a local pawn chain was clearing GBA, PS2, and XBOX games, a quick trip to a couple of my favorite video game hunting locations yielded:

Seaman (DC; disc, case, and manual) - $3
Marble Madness / Klax (GBA; cart) - $1
Crimson Sea 2 (PS2; CIB) - $1
Ecco the Dolphin: Defender of the Future (PS2; CIB) - $3
Raw Danger (PS2; NEW) - $1
Sky Crawlers: Innocent Aces (Wii; CIB) - $3
Taito Legends (XBOX; CIB) - $1

and...

Sixteen (16) Gameboy Dust Covers - $4

Picked up Popful Mail for the SegaCD from MobiusClimber here on racket for $80. Its not crazy cheap but still a decent deal for a pretty rare game.

Decent day - it is really yard sale season around here. Fleamarkets have been jammed with the cooler weather also.

Intellivision Plug and Play 2nd Edition - $2
Silver GameCube controller - $2 (cleaned up well, buttons are great)
Black PS2 Slim CIB - Very Good to Like New condition - $40

The PS2 is fantastic, had all the pieces wrapped in their original material. I've been wanting a slim since my original is 10 years old now and has had heavy use. This came from a one-off seller at the fleamarket (i.e. not there with the same junk every week) so I was pretty thrilled.

After three months I've decided that enough time has passed after my last find that I won't feel too stupid to post something else.

Image

Plug N' Play Intellivision - $1.50
Ecco Jr. - $2
Master of Monsters (Box and Game only, no manual) - $2

Not pictured, last weeks find:
Super Nintendo AC adapter - $1

So that's the second copy of Master of Monsters I've found this year. Honestly, I just bought it for the cover art and box. I've already got the game and manual from the last big find, so in three months I've managed to piece together a complete copy :D Ecco Jr. was in a blank case, as you can see, and was sans manual. I think I'll put my copy of Crusader of Centy and it's manual in there and print out a cover for it from the Cover Project.

And I was soooo happy to finally find an adapter for my spare SNES. I've been looking for one for over a year. While wandering around the thrift store I saw someone push a cart full of stuff out from the back room. When the just left it there and went back into the storage room, I walked over and glanced into the cart, not really expecting to see anything, and lo-and-behold, there was a very recognizable grey plug sticking out from under a couple of things. A little digging and there it was, all nice and shiny and labeled $1. That's the last adapter I was missing too, so no more fruitlessly digging through boxes of random adapters. Admittedly, it's a small find, but after over a year it made me quite happy

today at my job i got: Zelda Orcarina of Time 3D.

Got it a a nice price too.

It was 29.97 clearance and I put my workers discount (10%). I had two giftcards which ended up being $9.50 and some Store credit (points) equal to $6.80.

All I put was $12.24 from debit.

Not too bad for a Zelda game. Not to mention the Club Nintendo points. :D
