I think the Wii died mid 2011 tbh.. Had good holiday sales because ti was the cheapest console.. I think it honestly had more life.. It's just amazing how bad of a back seat it has taken to the HD twins.. And I honestly don't think Wii U will take off either..

Taking a backseat to Xbox and PS3? Pretty sure the Wii is leading the current generation in sales...

I'm one of those late PS3 adapters that your current console redesign is currently primarily aimed at.

Let me assure you that my main concern at this point when it comes to buying a console is price, not that BS you were rambling on about.

Just thought I'd clear that up.

Probably going to pick one up used like i did with the PS2 Slim, pretty sure i have the last model released of the PS2 Slim, but my PS3 Slim is still under warranty till like March actually and i had plans to swap the 120gb for 500gb or larger.

Going to wait and see.

Wow. That's not what I expected at all, but that makes way more sense than how I thought it would open. I thought it would work more like the PS2 slim somehow. I guess this way makes more sense.

That loading mechanism looks kinda cool.

Doesn't really look any more cheaply made than the ps2's.

Sony if you are going to redesign your system to look more like a children's toy instead of an expensive entertainment system, make sure to also lower the price to "toy level".
