Super Nintendo/Konami Justifier player one rebuild.

Post by marvelus10 »

I have a SNES/Konami Justifier player one gun that needs a new cord and I need some help.

Could someone with a continuity tester and a working Justifier show me what pins match up to what solder tabs.

Thank you.

do you have a multimeter? if so, set it to continuity test mode and you can find out what pins go to what solder joints.
need console mods or repairs? check my thread here:

How so?
I don't know what the solder points are, sure I can test my cable and know what colour wire corresponds with what pin on the socket, but then what colour wire solders to what solder pad on the PCB?

Notice they have nice clean holes on the PCB there sir.

I'd help out if I had a Justifier, but I don't. I assume you were replacing a messed up cord, so your donor might be different colors and can't find someone else's picture of the PCB from the other side? This probably won't help directly since you're not looking at a Nintendo pad and don't know what the pins on the Konami chip on there are, but maybe this will help in conjunction with some other information?

Maybe you do not understand the question. I have revised my picture maybe someone can fill in the blanks for me as I do not know the pinout for the chip on the PCB. I am not going to assume the all correspond in the same fashion as the controller connector as this could be detrimental to the chip.
