Ended up buying a nVidia GTX 670 and it came with a copy of BL2, should be available to play soon ....

nice! i just got mine last night and had a quick one player tutorial as i call it... :mrgreen:

..then i joined Hobie, dsheinem and s1mple who were at a higher level than i am for a quick multi test run. i could still hear that annoying sound that was bothering us...sounds like a pig squealing. :lol:

It was Simple. It sounded like a machine shop to me. Like band saws and drill presses running.

Looks like it is scheduled to arrive on Wednesday, I'm hoping I get the code for Borderlands before that...

No mic boost enabled, little ambient noise (spare my case fans), and the boom was a reasonable distance from my mouth. And since my speakers are disabled and powered off with headphones on it shouldn't be amplifying my speakers. I dunno. :?

don't worry s1mple. well test it out again tonight...Hobie also mentioned you guys couldn't hear me on my mic last night...so i need to tweak my settings as well.

The audio in this game is odd. Mine transmits both my game sounds aswell as voicechat, even though I am using headphones. It is really odd, and since when I play with friends I play with an open mic, well it has become an issue. Its not an issue in any other game but Borderlands 2.
