Quick game creation?

Post by RCBH928 »

Hello,

Does any one know if there is some very simple way where I can create a game?
I'd love to find out of there is a shootem'up that I can just mod , swapping graphics and images.
I find this site called Roblox but not sure what it is exactly.
if I can make it work on Android that would be super amazing

I am not planning on making a commercial app...I am trying to pull a joke...

If you just want to make a dinky little "joke" game, I'd recommend trying out IG Maker. (The trial is free.)

I don't like the interface much myself, but it should suit your needs! You can download a Gradius clone and mod it from there. I don't think it has Android support, but can export to XNA (Windows phone or Xbox Live Indie Games).

You might prefer Game Maker. Download the "lite" version and see what you think? One of the tutorials you can download is for a vertical WWII shooter - modding that would be pretty simple. If you want to make it for Android, you're going to have to get an expensive version.

You can check this guide for more options.

thanks! This is why I like this forum...
I hope one of those solutions is extremely idiot proof as I have no intentions to learn ay kind of language even as simple as HTML.

You really do know a lot, dont you?
