So I went into Gamestop today and they finally had a 3DS XL model on display. Every other store I've been to around here still has the original models out, so it's the first time I've gotten to see and interact with the XL.

I gotta say, i love the larger screen. It's much easier on my eyes. With the smaller one I had to lean in a bit more so see what was going on, but with the XL I could stand at a much more comfortable distance, more like I would if I were playing at home.

Oh, and the colors really do look much better on the actual system than they do on the box. Definitely looking forward to getting one of these in the near future.

This is about what an hour and a half of walking around Tokyo looks like:

Since each group maxes out at 10, I could have had more if I took out my 3DS every 5 minutes.

Heh. That's more like 5 years in Boston. I rarely see anyone with anything but a smart phone.

That was my PAX experience. I'd fill up the 10, send them through the puzzle pieces and find mii, then immediately have another 10 available.

Dragoncon, midday, Marriott. Sitting on the red couches I could reach most of the atrium and tagged 300 people in less than an hour. I put a rubber band on the R key and just clicked A as fast as a I could.

Really? The Vita might be my favorite handheld yet. Love it. My 3DS experience has been pretty forgettable.
