Having spent several hours with the Wii U and about a dozen games for it, I have seen zero evidence that the graphics of even their first party titles outshine the best of current gen consoles.
Buy Nintendo hardware becasue you like Nintendo games and/or interesting innovations/gimmicks. Don't buy Nintendo hardware if you are looking for impressive graphics or an otherwise notable A/V presentation.
Come to think of it, I'm not convinced that the Wii produced any games that really stood head and shoulders above the best looking PS2/GCN/Xbox games. It seems to me the Wii U will probably be positioned similarly.

I think so, but not quite so bad as the Wii. The Wii U seems to be a bit more powerful for its time than the Wii was.

Good thing I pre ordered the deluxe edition at Gamestop the first day. I'll probably just pick up New Super Mario Bros U at launch cause the one for the Wii was a fucking blast playing with friends.

Well that's not what everyone in the media and all the reports are saying. I think I'll trust them until I see otherwise.

I've yet to see evidence that "everyone in the media and all the reports" suggest that the Wii U has games whose graphics look better than the best looking 360/PS3 games. I'm genuinely interested in you lining to some if you find any, as my experience with it was not one that impressed graphically...

no.
I stopped playing this game on the Wii because it won't get my input on the slashing...
I opened a thread in this forum about this topic and people said that they (developers) messed up this part , because it was easier to do it on the analogue stick on ps2

You realize that Nintendo is promising better graphics than any other console on the market, right? So watered-down isn't quite the right word here. I think you're looking for "enhanced" port. Like many PS1 ports to the Dreamcast.
I am guessing that Nintendo was comparing its 2012 console to the 2005 console Xbox 360 when they said looking for "enhanced" ports.
I dont think they are talking about xbox 720 or ps4 which Would come out in the next 2 years or less.
Plus I think "enhanced" means different gameplay with the tablet, not better graphics.
