Where can I get a cheap SNES?

Post by StarFoxA »

There is a place in town that's offering SNESs for, I think, $60. Is that a good deal, or should I search Craigslist/ebay?

Depends, if it's without a box than that's wayyy too expensive. I'd look elsewhere.

I'd look on ebay and craigslist. I got my first snes on eBay for $20 or so shipped with a copy of super mario world, and later i found another snes on craigslist with smw, tetris 2 and donkey kong 3 for $10. Unless it comes with a load of stellar games, $60's too much.

Yeah most stores around town charge 40-60, but you can find them for much cheaper off craigslist or pawn shops. Personally I just paid 6 dollars for one, so keep looking. I find them at goodwill and salvation army quite a bit for around 10 with all hook ups and accessories. I'd say 25-35 is still pretty fair if it's in good shape.

yeah i got mine which is a model 2/mini for 60 dollars shipped and it came with super mario world, f-zero, mortal kombat II and 3, so i'd reccomend just searching around for a decent deal. 60 is a bit steep for system only.
