Because Amazon apparently didn't get them early to ship to arrive close to release day. :?

Fuck it, I don't need a box to take up space that costs me more since I didn't order the bobble head or chest versions. Just gonna take the extra copy from my friend and cancel my Amazon one.

I have a retail copy of the original, which makes sense as it does not have require you to use steam to play. But as BL2 requires steam, once you activate the game, the box / disc is useless anyway.

Party time.

I missed out on the poster(s), Hobie, but you better believe I wasn't walking out empty handed. It pays to know your Borderlands trivia.

nice!

My "party time" so far is unpacking and installation of various C++ and .net updates! hooray!

In the meantime I remembered to dig up my E3 code for some exclusive gear, so looking forward to redeeming that "prize" from when I played back in June...

Left my pc running while trying to get the last 1% of the game. I also told it to start when it gets it, then, via shutdown timer, to turn off after three hours. So I should be ready to play as soon as I get home.

The downside is that I am sick.
