There's still one big problem with it - the 16:9 screen. It looks like games are "squished" to fit on the handheld, which means it's probably safe to assume that the same is true using the HDMI port on the "console."

I'd love some Neo Geo hardware, but I'm still not convinced that this is worth getting.

I have a feeling it is getting pretty expensive to find 4:3 LCDs small enough to fit into a handheld. They haven't been in demand for a long time. These guys probably found a deal on 16:9 mini LCDs and went with it. Hopefully there will be an option to force the image to 4:3.

From the looks of it I would say they are using overstocked PSP LCDs. The size, viewing angle and color range (when viewed from a camera) are pretty close to that of the PSP.

Still no examples of a forced 4:3 ratio, however. Nasty stretchy 16:9 is used during the entire video.

I'm more interested in that joystick than the emulation handheld. Has anyone gotten a close look at the joystick? Does it have a USB connection? I'd like to connect that to my computer or PS360.

Wow, GameStop really is going to support it. But you only get the Ninja Master's with an online order. It says that it won't be available in stores.

GameStop mentioned that as part of their "getting into retro games" thing they'd be looking into stuff like this. I guess this confirms it.

Well shit in my pants.

I just posted the vid on my facebook and one of my friends here in town who does a comics based podcast commented that he got to try the thing out during a Gamestop expo last month.

Going to see what he remembers. Stand by.

Edit: He was only able to play the system from the AES-like dock. He wasn't sure if there is a 4:3 forced option.

Just preordered mine. I can never have enough neo geo goodness. Im hoping that if this sells well, it will open up the possibility of having some brand new games released for the neo.
