It's totally dudebro. Hell you hear them actually say "dude" and "bro" a lot as you play through this thing. It's actually pretty funny

If you don't even know what Final Fight is you shouldn't be making silly threads like this.GameMasterGuy wrote:Final Fight actually rings a bell, but I thought it was NES. Wikipedia tells me I'm misinformed, maybe I'll hunt a copy down once I get hungry for another beat-em-up.
EDIT: Just did a bit of price checking on them... why the hell is FF3 $40 at my retro gaming store, $55 on eBay, and $50 on Amazon!? Sweet Jesus, I've heard of the "Nintendo premium", but this is just outrageous!
I don't blame him, it's just a cheap Streets of Rage knockoffGunstar Green wrote:If you don't even know what Final Fight is you shouldn't be making silly threads like this.

It's not bad. It's not one of the best beat 'em ups I've played, or even one of the best on XBLA or PSN, but it's certainly fun. The game's humor is a real highlight. There are memorable moments that can really make you laugh out loud. The game's villain is one of this year's most memorable characters for me. The combat is decent overall, not great but decent. The upgrade system is really cool though. It lets you customize your style of play and really helps bring down the game's difficulty quite a bit. Without the upgrade system in place, this would have been your typical hard as balls arcade beat 'em up. The upgrades really give you a nice advantage though. There are lots of little references to other beat 'em ups in the game and some cool pop culture references that I appreciated. There are actually certain musical cues in the soundtrack that sound like they were ripped out of Konami's ninja turtles games. That was pretty coolfvgazi wrote:Gamerforlife wrote:I resurrected this topic for this game

Thoughts on this game? I played the demo and it seems pretty cool. I love the art style with all the 80's cliches and the music is pretty badass and hilarious.
