NES PIXEL QUILT: IN PROGRESS
This is currently a very slow work-in-progress. My grand vision is for the quilt to contain several of my fondest NES character memories on a full-sized quilt that should reach to the floor. Each 'pixel' measures 1x1 inch and will be quilted accordingly. I shall update this section as each piece is completed.
I've already graphed out all the characters that I think will fit onto graph paper. Fabrics have already been selected and purchased. My mom will be the one actually putting everything together and doing the quilting, but I am helping cut and pin the tiny pieces together for her.
I'm not 100% sure on where all the characters will be in relation to one another yet, as their heights vary and I'm still moving things around on my graph paper template, but there should be enough room for 3 mismatched rows. This is currently what's been completed.
First off is of course Mario, jumping over a barrel.
Next up is Link, swinging his sword.
Mega Man, looking pretty damn chill.
Donkey Kong is quite large...
Here he is next to Mario (complete with barrel) so you can get a better idea of their size in relation to one another.
Kirby
Here are a couple of In-Progress shots.
Kirby graph paper design and selected colors.
Kirby all placed out, ready to be pinned together.
Kirby finally all put together.

--------------SONY--------------
PSP Games:
Yes, I keep Breath of Fire 3 in the little plastic baggie it came in. I know that's odd.
UPDATE
Playstation 1:
I try to stick to accumulating the titles I'm interested in locally. For a rural area, I don't think I've done to damn bad.

PS3
I also have the first two Uncharted games, as well as Infamous 1 and 2. However, they came with the PS3 bundle, so I won't post them until I can get them in some good cases.

--------------MICROSOFT--------------
Xbox Games:
Probably one of my smaller game selections. I've been trying to stick to "Xbox Only" titles for the most part, but when you manage to find certain games for cheap at various thrift stores it's hard to say no. I've also been given a couple of these by people I know (That's why Doom 3 is a bit rusted around the edges.). Also, keep in mind that though I do have some PC games, I'm not much of a PC gamer, so if it ended up on a PC and console, I'll lean towards the console version.

--------------NINTENDO--------------
Game Boy/Game Boy Color:
I love me my portables When I was buying games for other systems used, I'd try to save up and buy these new. Granted, that only counts for a grand total of 5, including 4 Pokemon games and Alone in the Dark, but I was younger and didn't have a lot of money back then.
I found this last year whilst cleaning out under my bed. Apparently I put it in a box and threw it under there. I'm glad I didn't throw it out.
Yes, if I bought it new I kept the box. I am very proud of myself.

Game Boy Advance Games:
Did I mention I loved my portables? Because if not, that should really be stressed.
I may have missed out on the last generation of consoles, but I never abandoned my GBA.
Games bought new....Lord of the Rings purchased by Mom....

DS/3DS
The 3DS is my newest addition, so it's quite small, but I hope to add a bit to it over the next year. This is my first time having a DS of any sort, though I did pick up a couple of games beforehand, so I'm very excited.

Update:
NES
Lots more I still want for this system.

Boxed/Sealed (?)
I've also managed to acquire the innards for Dragon Warrior separately (No, I didn't open it). They came in a little baggy when I found all those games last year. I'm not sure if I mentioned it then or not (Pretty sure I didn't). Here they are, anyway.

SNES/Super Famicom:
Still a long way to go on what I want for the SNES, but I'm slowly getting there.
I really need to print out a cover for this.

N64:
Pretty much done with my N64 collection. There are just a couple more titles I want and then I'll be more than satisfied.

Gamecube
And my only disk-only game
*Update*
Wii:
The Wii games are still a work in progress. There are still a lot of niche-type games I'd like to get for it. For all the ribbing it gets, I think it's a really fun system. A couple of these games haven't been opened yet, as I haven't finished playing some of the earlier entries in the series. I'm keeping them sealed for the moment so I can hold off experiencing that nice, new, freshly opened game experience

Master System:
These images should look familiar if you follow the "Finds" thread. It's all I have for this system and they're good pictures, so I didn't feel like re-taking them.

Genesis
I've had much better luck this year with the Genesis games than I've had in the last five combined. I think my collection's at least tripled from what I used to own and I'm very pleased about that. It's much more rounded out now.

Manuals
Note: I've somehow managed to piece together a complete copy of Master of Monsters, so that particular manual is no longer loose

Sega CD
So far all my Sega CD games are disk+Manual only, as that's what came with the bundle I found last June. A bit of a bummer, but I honestly don't give much of a f&$#, since I seem to got a good chunk of the good ones in one fell swoop
I hope to add more to this collection as I can.
I need to pick up some spare jewel cases for these, but for now they reside in here.

--------------COMPUTER--------------
Computer Games/Books
Please enjoy the randomness contained within.
My Book of Disks
Found one day at a thrift store.
Boxed
Some of these still have stickers on them, because removing them would damage the box.
I think I have a Myst obsession. Scary, considering I haven't finished it yet.
Diablo II is in the box with the expansion set.

Game Related CDs
CDi
Don't know how game related most of this is, but there are games for the CDi so I'll post them and the other stuff that I got when I bought the system.
DVD SHELVES
Self made shelf #1 fits snugly up against the cubes I keep my Wii, Gamecube, and PS2 games in. You can also see some of my game guides and the doggy door stop that I like to use.
Various, random CDs on the upper shelf. Don't try to figure out how it was organized, because it wasn't
My small collection of super hero/comic book movies (at least the ones that aren't out in the living room) and the beginning of the horror/monster movie section.
We now transition from horror, to action, to random Criterion and blu-rays.
The Boxed Set section. Also the same part of my room where I keep most of my SNES and N64 games.
Stitch protects the movie ticket stub box.
Part 2 of my DVD/CD section. This is where I keep the more light-hearted movies.
Some NES games and a VCD up top, some drama-action-comedies below.
Some animation, some comedies and some childhood favorites. Except for Pan's Labyrinth. I'm still not quite sure where to put that one.
Some more CDs.
Essentially the Harry Potter row.
And on the bottom, my slowly expanding PS3 collection. Uncharted 1+2 and Infamous 1+2 are in the blank DVD boxes.

Anime Collection
I know some of you enjoy Anime, so I'm putting this in here for fun.
[
After 4 years I finally finished off the Hellsing OVAs. It's going to nag at my OCD that the set doesn't match, but after that long, I'll deal.
The Anime Boxes
What's in that one on the left that deserves to be padlocked?
Those damned expensive Sailor Moon sets, that's what.
